O que é um Fotocondutor?



Fotocondutor também é conhecido por vários outros nomes, conforme segue abaixo:

Chamado apenas como Cilindro muitas vezes, o Cilindro é uma outra peça que faz parte de muitos modelos de Toners e Fotocondutores.
Como o próprio nome sugere, o Cilindro é uma peça em forma cilíndrica, a cor geralmente é verde ou azul, e fica localizada no interior do Cartucho de Toner ou também do Fotocondutor Drum.

A principal função do Fotocondutor é auxiliar no processo de transferência da imagem para o papel na impressora.

O Fotocondutor é necessário em praticamente todas as impressoras, a diferença é que em alguns modelos já está inserido diretamente no Cartucho de Toner e em outros é instalado na impressora, separado do Toner.

No caso deste modelo, o Toner vai ser acoplado no Fotocondutor e ambos inseridos dentro da impressora.

Cada fabricante e modelo tem seu rendimento específico, o funcionamento é similar ao cartucho de toner, quando termina a sua capacidade de impressão, se faz necessária a substituição.
